Course Details

This course is NOT your regular jog in the park. Beware that it will test the limits of your physical abilities and your sanity. You will get dirty, muddy, wet, and that’s the point! Here are a few obstacles just to name a few:

  • Bombs Away:
With a bridge above a low valley where runners will be trotting through for about a 1/4 mile, spectators above the bridge will be blessed with buckets of water to attempt and dump water on the runners as they run under the bridge.
  • Muddy Mambo:
8 x 3 x 2 muddy pits dug into the trail where runners MUST run, crawl, and cavort through between muddy pits, runners finish with a climb over heaping mounds of mud.
  • Not Too Proud to Crawl:
A 10-foot crawl through an old cement slab, it will be wet, muddy, and slippery.
  • Muddy Mayhem:
Runners will experience their first muddy obstacle at the entrance to Cary Prairie. Be prepared to enter the prairie through a wet and sticky mud pit.
  • Pitfall Scary:
Large mud pit at the finish line that runners must crawl through in order to finish!
  • No Bridge Over Troubled Waters:
Experience a wet run by crossing Wildcat Creek on foot. Be prepared to wade water waist deep.
  • Valley of Hurt:
A series of heart attack inducing hills climbs throughout the course, true test of endurance where you’ll need to dig deep.
  • New - Wet Way Down:
Runners will slide down a continuously wetted chute into a mud pit and continue their run through the woods.
  • Plus 3 new unknown obstacles to be announced at a later date.
