Rules and Guidelines

The following rules and guidelines are intended to help create a fun and safe event for all participants.

  1. All runners must print and sign the waiver of liability in order to participate. Please bring this form with you to the race, preferably signed and ready to turn in at registration.
  2. Participants must abide by all instructions given from the race director, race staff, volunteers and medical personnel.
  3. Participants understand and acknowledge Mud Run is an extreme event and accept all risks associated with the event.
  4. Participants must be physically able to complete the course and all obstacles.
  5. Participants must be 12 years-old or older on race day in order to participate on the adult course.
  6. Participants must wear the provided bib number where it is clearly shown.
  7. Baby joggers, baby strollers, in-line skates, bicycles, skateboards or any other type of wheeled device are strictly prohibited on the course.
  8. Registration is closed when the maximum capacity is reached.
  9. Shoes must be worn at all times.
  10. If you skip an obstacle you are not eligible for prizes.
  11. Participants must be at least 5 years-old and under the age of 12 on race day in order to participate on the children’s course.

Mud Run Safety

Mud Runs are not for the faint of heart. We encourage participants to take necessary safety precautions.

  1. Participants must sign a waiver of liability to participate and must assume responsibility for all medical expenses incurred as a result of training and/or participating in the Mud Run, including but not limited to hospitalization, ambulance transportation or physician services.
  2. Mud Run medical personnel may examine any participant who appears to be injured or suffering. The medical personnel may remove any participant from the event if in the opinion of the medical personnel the participant needs to be removed.
  3. The event producers reserve the right to cancel or delay the race due to severe weather or in the event of a disaster.
  4. We highly recommend participants wear running shoes. Participants should also dress appropriately for the weather on race day.

Obstacles

To ensure the event lives up to it's name, there are both natural and man-made obstacles throughout the course.

  1. Completion of the Mud Run may be hazardous. It is the responsibility of the participant to leave the course if they are unable to complete an obstacle.
  2. Course officials are stationed at every obstacle for participant safety.
  3. It is the responsibility of the participant to notify course officials if the participant feels their safety is in danger or they are injured.
  4. Any participant who receives assistance from any spectator or non-competitor on any obstacle shall be ineligible to receive an award.
